DELIVERY

We will arrange for the Products to be delivered to the address for delivery indicated in your Order.
We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver Products on or before the date for delivery stated above – However, we cannot guarantee delivery by the relevant date. We do however guarantee that unless there are exceptional circumstances, all deliveries of Products will be dispatched within 7 working days for in stock items. Any out of stock items and/or special-order items may take up to 4-5 weeks from order date, however you will be notified of such a situation may it arise.

We will only deliver Products within Mainland UK for free, delivery charges for addresses outside of the Mainland UK and in the highlands of Scotland will vary. Please also note that the delivery is carried out in normal business hours (8am till 6pm – Monday to Friday), delivery at any other time or days will require an additional payment. Please contact us for more information.

Delivery will be to the room or rooms of choice where multiple items are purchased. Delivery queries including shortages and damages must be notified to us within 24 hours from day of delivery otherwise Oak Furniture Direct cannot be held responsible.

PRODUCT RETURNS

Goods will only be accepted for return if unused and in a re-saleable condition and in original packaging.
The majority of our items are delivered fully assembled however some require limited assemble due to access reasons, (Bed frame). Self-assembly furniture cannot be returned after the partial or complete assembly, unless one of the items is defective. We will not refund the cost of the product if the reason is a matter of the size of the product or access to the property, in accordance with Trading Standards Sale of Goods Act. Made to order items are an exception to the Distance Selling Regulations and will not be accepted as a return for a credit or exchange unless they are faulty or damaged upon arrival.

Unless the product is being returned due to a manufacturing fault or supplier error (See Below), you will only be able to return the product(s) at your cost.

You are responsible for the safe return of the products to us. To return any product, you can either arrange the use of your own courier, or we can arrange a courier to collect the products from you, however this will only be done at a cost to you.

All returned goods will be inspected, and we reserve the right to charge for incomplete returns. These warranties do not affect your statutory rights. Please be aware it can take up to 10 days for the courier to collect a return request and return inspections to be carried out – These warranties do not affect your statutory rights

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS / DAMAGED ITEMS

Our obligation is to replace any damaged parts, if the item has been delivered with a damaged replaceable part we will send a replacement to you – However you must notify us within 48 hours that the item has damage. We will not replace bedframes that have replaceable damaged parts, (e.g. slats) bedframes will only be replaced if the parts are not replaceable.

Products returned by you because of a manufacturing defect/fault will be refunded in full only if they are returned in the same packaging as they were delivered and once they have been checked and confirmed defective by our returns department. This must be brought to our attention within 48 hours. Alternatively, if we and you agree, we may supply you with a replacement product.

REFUNDS

Goods will only be accepted for return if unused, in a re-saleable condition and in original packaging up to 14 days from delivery.
